Sinbad is an adventurous pirate captain for whom nothing is too hard to steal, even the vaunted Book of Peace. Although, he’s also a coward who runs from his fears. When Proteus promised to die in his place if he didn’t return with the Book of Peace, a crime for which he’d been framed, Sinbad almost left him to die. With the help of his love Marina, however, he becomes a brave, noble man true to his word. He achieves his dream at the end of the movie: sail around the world with his lover Marina by his side.
